Cas di Glas December 2012 Aruba

The Cas di Glas event/ One island, one voice
The Cas di Glas (House of Glass / Het Glazen Huis) event is a fun fundraising, which takes place from December 12th to December 16th, 2012. This years theme is “Danki na nos Grandinan” and its goal is to raise money for the Wit Gele Kruis.
Situated in front of Taste of Belgium restaurant, a glass house will be the focal point around which activities, music and performances are scheduled.
Inside the house, 3 deejays are going to do their utmost to get the entire population of Aruba and its visitors involved in a united effort to raise money.

This November, the island of Aruba plays host to ARUBA IN STYLE 2012, a series of runway shows, pool and beachside presentations, private island, tours, and after parties made possible by the Aruba Fashion Group LLC and the Aruba Tourism Authority.
ARUBA IN STYLE, the premiere fashion event of the Caribbean produced in association with the Aruba Tourism Authority and IMG Fashion NY, attracts international designers, celebrities and media for this annual fashion and lifestyle event.
The Caribbean and Latin America leading fashion event, ARUBA IN STYLE, will present its 2012 edition here in ARUBA from November 1st through November 4th, 2012.
World known Socialite, Kathy Hilton, launched her cocktail collection during ARUBA IN STYLE 2011 and garnered impressive press coverage. To name a few Elle, In Touch, Glam, Life & Style, NTN24, Globovision, Sun Channel, Zimbio, Examiner, Wall Street Journal and Yahoo News.
ARUBA IN STYLE will kick off with a stylish Fashion & Cocktail’s Night Out at Renaissance Mall with special incentives at designer’s boutiques on the evening of November 1st. It will be followed by three days of exclusive runway shows featuring international designers, cocktail parties and absolute fashion swim / resort shows that highlights the island’s lush attributes.
Participating designers have included Custo Barcelona, David Yurman, DiNeila Brazil, ISSA London, Aqua di Lara (Canada), Marcelo Quadros (Brazil), Beach Bunny, Nicolas Felizola, Edwin Oudshoorn, parke & ronen, Ricardo Piñeres, Mathijs van Bergen and many more from Holland and Latin America showed during AIS 2011.

BON BINI Festival, every Tuesday 7 -9pm

Vsit Fort Zoutman, the oldest building on the island, located in Oranjestad, and enjoy our famous Bon Bini Festival, a weekly local folkloric music and dance festival where you can catch the flavor of the island, its people, music, cuisine and hospitality.

"Bon bini" means "Welcome" in Papiamento, and that is the perfect word to describe the enthusiastic environment of this festival. The festival takes place every Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
